About

The curriculum-grounded content engine for education.

Our mission

To be the curriculum-grounded content engine for education, giving teachers back the time to inspire students, and giving education systems the content infrastructure their reforms require.

Our vision

To transform education by empowering teachers with tools that create time for what matters most: inspiring students.

Research first, from the start

MESO was founded out of teaching and research rather than out of a general-purpose AI product. That origin shapes the work: we study how curriculum change actually lands in classrooms, and we build to the standard the OECD now calls for: purpose-built tools for education, not generic chatbots.

What we value

Integrity

We say what our tools do, and no more than that.

Quality

Aligned by design, reviewed by teachers.

Grit

Education infrastructure is slow, hard work. We do it anyway.

Innovation

Purpose-built for education, not adapted from elsewhere.

What makes MESO different

01

Curriculum-native AI

Proprietary generation flows tuned to the Irish curriculum on AWS Bedrock, not a thin wrapper over a chat API.

02

Curriculum data model

A structured model of strands, outcomes and progressions that generic AI tools cannot replicate from prompts.

03

Compliance as a moat

GDPR and EU AI Act alignment designed in from day one: the procurement blocker for schools, solved.

04

Whole-workflow depth

Units, lessons, assessments, resources and exports in one system: planning that compounds, not one-off outputs.

Founder-led, with research and pedagogy depth

MESO is founder-led, with a team combining classroom teaching experience and education research, and origins in Trinity College Dublin and the ADAPT Centre.

Institutional backing

A Trinity College Dublin spin-out, supported by the ADAPT Centre, Enterprise Ireland and the Nova UCD AI Accelerator.
