What this website stores
This website sets no advertising or marketing trackers, and never has. It sets one strictly-necessary cookie, which records the choice you make in the banner so that neither this website nor the MESO app has to ask you again. The table below is the complete list of what it can store on your device.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| meso_consent | Cookie | Records whether you accepted or declined analytics. Shared with the MESO app at app.mesolab.ai so that you are asked once rather than once per site. It holds your choice and nothing else — no identifier, and nothing that could identify you | 1 year |
| meso-cookie-consent | Local storage | The same choice, kept as a fallback for browsers that block cookies. This was where the choice used to live; existing records are migrated to the cookie above | Until you clear your browser storage |
| meso_signed_in | Cookie | Set by the MESO platform, not by this website. Read here only so that a person who is already signed in is not asked to create an account | Set and cleared by the platform |
Analytics
With your consent we use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to understand which pages are useful. It is configured without autocapture and without session recording: it never records your screen or your keystrokes, and it is never used for advertising. It sets its own storage entries, prefixed ph_, only after you accept.
Your choice is shared with the MESO app at app.mesolab.ai, and it covers two things there: the same PostHog analytics, and Sentry, which collects anonymised JavaScript errors and stack traces so that we can fix faults. Accepting here switches both on; declining here leaves both off. Neither is used for advertising, and neither records your screen or your keystrokes.
Nothing is loaded until you accept. Declining costs you no functionality: every part of this website works the same either way, which is why the banner gives both choices the same visual weight.
Changing your mind
Use the Manage cookies link in the footer of any page. It reopens the banner, shows the choice currently recorded, and lets you change it. In the MESO app the same control is under Settings → Privacy. Because the choice is shared, changing it in either place changes it in both. Withdrawing consent stops any further collection; it does not affect the lawfulness of what was collected while consent was in place.
Clearing your browser storage also removes the record of your choice, in which case you will be asked again on your next visit. Any question about this, email contact@mesolab.ai.
