Introduction and acceptance
MESO is an AI-powered educational planning platform that helps educators create lesson plans, assessments and teaching resources.

Your content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of all original content you create using MESO. You grant us a limited licence to store, display and process it solely in order to provide the service, and you are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Content generated by MESO's AI features is provided for you to use and adapt. It is a starting point rather than a finished product, and you are responsible for reviewing and validating it before use.
MESO, its logo and all platform features are proprietary to MESO Lab Limited. Our trademarks may not be used without prior written consent, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Account security and sessions
You are asked to:
- Use a strong, unique password
- Turn on the security features available to you
- Report any suspected security incident promptly
- Keep your account credentials confidential
Sessions time out after 30 minutes of inactivity, an account may hold a maximum of 10 concurrent sessions, and you can end sessions yourself from Settings.
Service availability and changes
We aim for continuous availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where that is possible, and we are not liable for interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated by email or by notification in the platform, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
MESO provides tools that assist educators. It does not replace professional judgement. AI-generated content is a suggestion to be reviewed, we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or suitability for any particular purpose, and you remain solely responsible for the content you use in an educational setting.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MESO is provided as is and without warranties of any kind; we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages; our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months; and these limits apply regardless of the theory of liability.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, from your content or your use of the platform, or from your infringement of a third party's rights.
Ending your account
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. A 30-day grace period allows recovery; after that the data is anonymised and cannot be retrieved.
We may suspend or terminate an account for:
- Breach of these Terms
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Extended inactivity, with prior notice
- A lawful request from law enforcement
On termination, access to the platform ceases immediately, your content is retained for the grace period, and any provision that by its nature should survive will do so.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law principles, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at contact@mesolab.ai so that we can try to resolve the matter directly.
General provisions
- These Terms are the entire agreement between you and MESO regarding use of the platform
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect
- A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right
- You may not assign these Terms; we may assign ours to an affiliate or successor
- We are not liable for failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will tell you about material changes by email to your registered address, by notification when you next sign in, and by posting notice on this website. Continued use after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of it.
By using MESO you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
